Dear Tuscola Faithful,

       I started the first Tuscola fan site on a free Yahoo Geocities site back in 2002, and since that time it has been my pleasure to provide fans with information related to Tuscola Football.  The fan site grew until it was an online database of Tuscola history by the start of the 2004 season.   The site continued to grow until it eventually outgrew the free Geocities site and I launched a completely redesigned version of the site on the TuscolaFootball.com domain name in August 2007.  Since that time, the site has had thousands and thousands of hits during the fall, and not too shabby in the offseason.  It just goes to show how much people in Waynesville love their football team.   While it was never my calling to play football at Tuscola, I have had a passion for being under those Friday night lights, enjoying the games and providing fans with a website where they can relive every bit of it.  I hope that I have done my part to contribute to the great tradition that is Tuscola Football, and I would like to especially thank Coach Kiefer, his staff, and the team for honoring me at the 2008 football banquet.

Now, to the point...

       While I have enjoyed building this site and being a passionate fan of Tuscola Football, there are larger goals that have been placed in my heart by a God who has made extravagant plans for my future.   It is bittersweet to say this, but the 2009 season will most likely be my last season working on this website.  That being said, while I will be moving on to other things- it would be a shame to see this site disappear.  I have always seen this site as God's way of using me to bless those involved with the Tuscola Football program, and I am sure that there are some of you out there who would like to be involved in doing that very thing.  The software I used to put this website together is not hard to learn- and I am willing to help train those who are interested in different roles that make this website work.  This ranges from updating information on the website to researching records on microfilm to video editing and YouTube skills for the highlight reels.  I am not just asking for one specific person to take over (as that would be time consuming and would require a lot of commitment), but am hoping to create a team of people that will carry this website on after I am finished.

       So, what are my plans for the future?  It's hard to say exactly- as my plans are intended to be a copy of God's plans, and God's plans are extremely unpredictable... but I do know that He has called me into ministry of sorts- requiring me to leave what I have become used to.  As much as I have enjoyed Tuscola football games, I cannot allow them to become a hinderance that prevents me from accomplishing the goals in my life.
