Tuscola High School senior Eric Nelson, who broke all school receiving records at WR this past fall, with 1,647 yards and 20 TD's, was offered and accepted a full ride to Lackawanna Junior College in Scranton, PA. Congratulations to a great young man and to his family. Lackawanna has a strong tradition of placing players in D1 programs. I believe Eric's yards this year placed him #5 on the all time single season receiving list for the NCHSAA.

At least five 2010 seniors (Tyler Brosius, John Austin Chambers, Graham Fisher, Josh Adams, Eric Nelson) will play on the next level- meaning at least 12 former Mountaineers will be playing college football this year. In April, we hope to see the Big T represented on Sundays as well depending on the NFL Draft.
The TuscolaFootball.com Film Project
TuscolaFootball.com is working on a project this offseason- converting video tapes of old game films to make a DVD library- and possibly an eventual option to download full game films older than 4 years from this website. The school has allowed us to use a number of video tapes for this project, but the school does not have videos of every game. If you have any game videos you'd like to convert to disc- we will convert it to disc and give both you and the school copies of the game film.
